ABOUT LISA
Lisa is sought-after to work on projects because of her ability to problem solve challenging situations with creativity, practicality, and organization to create clean and sophisticated designs.
Lisa stands out among other designers with her dual background in psychiatry and design – giving her the training to understand the psychological need to make the interior of your home a place that provides safety and security through functional rooms; love and belonging with rooms that welcome friends and family; and esteem by making us feel confident. These principles developed by 20th century American psychologist, Abraham Maslow, speak to the each individual’s hierarchy of needs. Using this philosophy in designing a home for function and beauty helps to create interiors that are purely individual to each client.
Some of Lisa’s projects include custom private residences in the northwest on Lake Washington, Beaver Lake, and Lake Sammamish in the Seattle, WA area; participation as the lead designer in the 2007 KIRO Concept Home on Mercer Island, WA, 2002 Tour of Homes in Bend, OR, and 2001 Street of Dreams in Portland, OR.
Lisa’s design firm seeks to provide interior architecture services to all budgets because everyone deserves to live in a home that inspires. Lisa works alongside architects, builders, home owners listening to their thoughts, feelings, and dreams about their space. Taking the information and problem solving that information creates a uniquely personal space that can be called their own. Her trademark is the use of rich color, interior architectural elements, and organization of intimate spaces. By using these simply, the result is fresh and clean with a decidedly sophisticated feel.
